Massacre at Lonesome Ridge by: Samantha Warren
5 STAR I found this book such a fun read. The mix of zombies in a western a very unique genre. The characters were real, likable and easy to relate to. They were perfectly described, almost like 3-D versions coming to life on the written page. I also love the writing style of Ms. Warren. From the first page I was hooked. The book flowed nicely, and with the numerous characters, I felt the author managed to keep the reader current as to what was happening at all times without getting lost along the way. Highly recommend this book to all and I can't wait to read the next installment. Two thumbs way up, and kudos to Ms. Warren for a great book. I received this book free of charge from the author in return for an honest review. "Anna Mary" by Amelie Rose
Anna Mary, a recent and childless widow, has returned to rural Ireland, where she was raised by her grandparents, for the first time in 40 years. There in the lane she had run barefoot down every day, her thoughts turn to moments and people from the past. The sharply poignant memories create for Anna Mary a pathway through her aloneness to the decisions she must make for her future. #FREE short story 'Anna Mary' by Amelie Rose goo.gl/HJOQlD #beezeebooks An Irish woman returns to her roots, "Rag Doll" by Rebecca Scarberry It’s on Jeremy Martell’s thirtieth birthday when something goes terribly wrong. Sugar and Spice and Not So Nice by - Janet McNulty
4 Star I totally enjoyed reading this book. A short, quick paced story. I found it entertaining, humorous and at times quite funny. The characters well developed, quite believable and true to life. Mellow Summers, her friend, Jackie, and a very determined ghost, Rachel, who used to live in the apartment Mellow and Jackie share. And all Rachel, the ghost, wants is help in finding out who murdered her. Easy enough . . . right? So who does she recruit to help her? Mellow! Mellow, aka Mel Summers, has her work cut out for her. Attending classes at college, working part time in a candle shop, a sexy neighbor, Greg, who quickly becomes a major love interest. And not to forget, Tiny and his band of biker buddies who take Mellow under their wing to try to protect her. Ms. McNulty weaves an entertaining story with just the right amount of twists and turns to keep you guessing and on your toes. I would highly recommend to all looking for a quick, fun cozy mystery. I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review. |
